Train Attendant Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and competent advice to passengers during train journeys
• Perform ticket inspections and support onboard ticket sales
• Ensure order, cleanliness, and safety throughout the entire train
• Act as the central point of contact for passenger questions and concerns
• Coordinate onboard processes and assist with passenger information
• Actively contribute to a positive travel experience and improve service processes

Requirements

• Ideally, previous experience in customer service, train attendance, or similar roles
• Fluency in German; basic English skills are an advantage
• Service-oriented, communicative, and professional personality
• Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in stressful situations
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends
• Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight in hotels
