Trailer Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic trailer repositioning to meet pool requirements and reduce idle times
• Facilitate proactive yard and equipment inspections to prevent downtime
• Assist with maintenance requests and collaborate with the Asset Maintenance team
• Ensure all company trailer KPIs meet performance expectations
• Manage landmarks and locations specific to the asset network
• Communicate proactively with customers to ensure requirements are met
• Ensure all trailer loads have correct trailer numbers for data integrity
• Perform daily audits to ensure all trailer moves are documented and accounted for

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics management, or related field preferred
• Experience in logistics, fleet, transportation, or supply chain preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Must be flexible on schedule, including weekends, afterhours, and holidays
