Traffic Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain on-air logs through careful management of commercial inventory
• Maximize revenue and inventory for a group of assigned stations
• Receive and interpret traffic instructions, commercial copy, and agency instructions
• Build instruction and rotation sets in WideOrbit and assign them to applicable orders
• Review "Missing Instruction" reports and communicate with agencies and station personnel
• Ensure accuracy of entering station advertising orders and verify orders against submissions
• Maintain electronic files of all commercial copy instructions
• Assist in the implementation of company Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to analyze large quantities of data and identify critical trends
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Onsite attendance in Charlotte, NC is required
