About the Company

DFDS Logistics Services AB is a transport company within the automotive industry located in Arendal. The operation runs 24/7, six days a week, employing approximately 250 full-time staff with a fleet of about 300 vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily planning and management of transports within the trucking operation in Arendal
• Cover for regular traffic planners during sickness, vacations, and summer periods
• Solve operational problems that arise during the workday
• Communicate effectively with drivers and colleagues

Requirements

• Basic understanding of logistics
• Good ability to prioritize
• General computer and system proficiency
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Must have 100% other primary employment (student, retiree, or other main occupation)
• Ability to work with relatively short notice
