Traffic Management Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise traffic management personnel engaged in the movement of cargo via land, air, and sea
• Schedule work priorities based on daily operations, taskers, and contracting office requirements
• Develop work standards, identify training deficiencies, and provide supervision for personnel using automated freight processing systems
• Verify the accuracy of transportation data, including Nomenclatures, TCNs, TACs, and hazardous/classified material certifications
• Inspect hazardous materials to ensure proper packaging, marking, and labeling in accordance with international regulations
• Monitor cargo operations and maintain in-transit visibility using various logistics and tracking software suites
• Coordinate with local carriers and host country customs to facilitate international and domestic shipments
• Oversee the loading, unloading, and securing of cargo, including 463L pallets and ISO containers
• Implement and control quality, environmental, and safety programs to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in Traffic Management (TMO) or Air Freight operations
• Current HAZMAT Certification (or ability to obtain it upon acceptance)
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Windows Operating Systems
• Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate material handling equipment
