About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of traffic management measures, signage, markings, and signals to ensure compliance with approved plans and regulatory requirements.
  • Review traffic management plans, temporary diversions, and work zone layouts to identify risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Monitor traffic flow and patterns near construction sites to assess impacts on road users, pedestrians, and local communities.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, local authorities, and law enforcement to coordinate traffic management strategies.
  • Implement traffic control measures, including lane closures, detours, and temporary signals, following safety protocols.
  • Conduct traffic impact assessments and modeling to predict effects on congestion and travel times.
  • Investigate traffic incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures.
  • Provide guidance and training to construction teams on traffic management procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in traffic management, transportation planning, or related fields.
  • Proven experience with road, bridges, highway, and tunnel projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for traffic analysis, simulation, and modeling.
  • Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and control devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications or licenses in traffic management.
  • Experience working with top international construction consultants.
