Traffic Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough traffic analyses and studies to understand patterns and trends
• Perform road safety assessments and identify potential hazards or risks
• Develop and implement traffic management plans to optimize traffic flow
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate traffic engineering solutions
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of traffic systems and make recommendations for improvements
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for traffic-related projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members
• Ensure compliance with local and international traffic engineering standards and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in traffic engineering
• Mandatory MMUP registration
• Valid professional engineering license
• Proficiency in using traffic engineering software and tools
• Strong knowledge of traffic analysis techniques and road safety principles
• Familiarity with local traffic regulations and standards in Qatar
