Traffic Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor traffic measures and traffic flow during all project phases
• Develop and manage traffic flow plans and maintain final scheduling
• Coordinate traffic measures in collaboration with internal and external parties
• Align traffic measure drawings with the Traffic Measure Designer
• Ensure efficient deployment of traffic measures and traffic engineering subcontractors
• Monitor traffic flows during large-scale weekend phases and service shutdowns
• Provide traffic engineering input for integrated planning, logistics plans, and operational manuals
• Maintain contact with clients, road authorities, emergency services, and other stakeholders
• Monitor traffic safety, accessibility, and flow within contractual frameworks

Requirements

• MBO+ or HBO level of professional and intellectual ability
• Completed degree in a technical field
• Valid VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in traffic, infrastructure, or civil engineering
• Proven experience with traffic measures, traffic monitoring, and traffic management
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to maintain oversight in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect different stakeholders

About the Company
