Traffic Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Execute the entry of commercial copy traffic instructions with high accuracy
• Confirm commercial copy from all delivery systems, including FTP and outside sources
• Retrieve traffic instructions and materials, ensuring material locations in WideOrbit are accurate
• Ensure all commercial materials are received and downloaded by daily deadlines
• Collaborate with Station Sales Departments, businesses, production houses, and advertising agencies
• Build and maintain professional relationships with TEGNA Commercial Operations and Streaming Center teams
• Provide support and backup to team members to maintain high service standards
• Adhere to established protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency in all tasks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in traffic or sales support within broadcast, cable, or radio
• Proficiency with WideOrbit traffic system (required)
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under strict deadline pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to solve problems with a sense of urgency and adapt quickly to change
