About the role

Responsibilities

  • Set up, maintain, and remove channelizing devices and traffic control equipment according to safety guidelines and plans
  • Coordinate and communicate work activities for onsite personnel, including Flaggers, TMA Drivers, and Pilot Car Operators
  • Manage work zone operations and provide breaks for onsite staff
  • Communicate effectively with customers to meet expectations and ensure safety
  • Control flagger stations using hand signals and STOP/SLOW paddles
  • Drive company vehicles to transport equipment, trailers, and team members safely
  • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to Protectors (Flaggers)
  • Complete required project documentation, including safety briefings and inspection logs

Requirements

  • TCS Certification (ATSSA) or 4000+ verifiable hours of experience
  • 2+ years of traffic control experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 50-60 lbs and stand for 8-12 hours per day
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and near moving traffic
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
