Traffic Clerk

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations and capacities
• Coordinate drivers, equipment, and freight to maintain high service levels
• Ensure accuracy of all shipping and receiving documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Handle customer and customer representative inquiries at the dispatch window
• Maintain accurate data, records, and logs related to shipping and receiving activities
• Maintain the facility dock door control board and assist in maintaining facility security
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions

Requirements

• 1 year of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience coordinating driver schedules, equipment, and freight
• Proficiency with Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Strong computer skills and experience with email communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a Dispatch or EWM environment
• Experience with WMS, scheduling, and wave planning
