Traditional Mandarin (Taiwan) Transcriber

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio and video recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content into text format.
• Follow project-specific guidelines regarding formatting, punctuation, and grammar.
• Adhere to client-specific Written Domain Conventions and "clean room" policies.
• Review and proofread transcripts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage time effectively to meet established deadlines and maintain high productivity.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with strict discretion and professionalism.
• Report technical issues promptly and suggest process improvements to enhance quality.

Requirements

• Fluent reading, writing, understanding, and typing in Traditional Mandarin (Taiwan).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM in Traditional Mandarin (Taiwan).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided).
• Ability to work on-site in Orlando, FL.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Reliable transportation for commuting to the office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional training in linguistics, transcription, or a related field.
• Ability to understand a wide range of accents and dialects.
• Strong research skills for verifying the spelling of names, locations, and products.
