Traditional Mandarin (Taiwan) Transcriber

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content into text format
• Follow project-specific guidelines regarding formatting, punctuation, and grammar
• Adhere to client-specific Written Domain Conventions and "clean room" policies
• Review and proofread transcripts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Manage time effectively to meet established deadlines and maintain high productivity
• Handle confidential information with strict discretion and professionalism
• Report technical issues or process improvement opportunities to the appropriate channels

Requirements

• Fluent reading, writing, understanding, and typing in Traditional Mandarin (Taiwan)
• Completion of Upper Secondary Education or equivalent
• Must be authorized to work in Thailand
• Ability to work on-site at our Bangkok office
• Minimum age of 18 years or older
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Ability to remain seated and wear headphones for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Typing speed of 40 WPM or higher in Traditional Mandarin (Taiwan)
• Additional training in linguistics or transcription
• Strong research abilities for verifying names, locations, and products
