Trading Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish best-in-class production support, software deployment, and proactive monitoring
• Maintain the health and availability of the trading ecosystem to minimize downtime
• Respond to support requests from traders and software engineers
• Liaise with external trading partners, exchanges, and clearing firms to resolve technical problems
• Collaborate with global teams including DBAs, development, and infrastructure to ensure 24x7 support continuity
• Build documentation for common procedures, troubleshooting, and system architecture

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in the financial industry
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related field
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub
• Scripting abilities in Python and Bash
• Comfort with SQL and Linux command-line
• Experience troubleshooting production incidents in proprietary trading systems
• Experience developing process automation and monitoring tools
• Strong oral and written communication skills
