Trading System Implementation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of trading system infrastructure supporting the Capital Markets group.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding and integration projects for clients, counterparties, vendors, and trading platforms.
• Serve as the primary business owner for client-facing FIX connectivity, workflow design, and certification processes.
• Partner with Trading, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to define and implement scalable trading solutions.
• Drive integration efforts across OMS, EMS, market data, portfolio management, and execution platforms.
• Oversee testing strategies, certification processes, and production readiness activities for new trading workflows.
• Monitor trading system performance and operational metrics to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure trading systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC) and internal risk frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience within financial services with direct responsibility for trading systems implementation.
• Proven experience with electronic trading workflows and FIX connectivity.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex technical implementations.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and market mechanics.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Raptor, SS&C Eze, Trafix, Silexx, Bloomberg EMSX, or Broadridge.
• Familiarity with software development processes, database systems, and networking.
• Experience implementing risk management controls within trading systems.
