Trading Support Engineer

Eclipse Trading is a leading proprietary trading firm founded in 2007. With over 110 employees across Hong Kong, Sydney, Shanghai, and Chicago, the firm deploys expertise across equity derivatives, delta one, ETFs, commodity derivatives, and cryptocurrency.

Responsibilities

• Own critical incidents by identifying root causes and leading post-mortem reviews
• Ensure seamless operation of distributed, multi-server trading systems
• Provide hands-on trade floor support and direct application assistance to traders
• Oversee UAT coordination and production software releases
• Collaborate with Operations and Development teams to resolve complex production issues
• Design and implement robust monitoring and logging solutions
• Automate and optimize workflows through scripting and tool development
• Engage in occasional after-hours support and testing as required

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in trading support or a similar technical role
• Proficiency with Linux environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or PHP
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills for fast-paced trading environments
