Trading Services Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive reviews and validation of OTC, note, and equity derivative trades, including structured and exotic products.
• Ensure meticulous reconciliation of trade details in risk management systems against official documentation such as Terms Sheets and Legal Confirmations.
• Analyze complex deal structures and assess risk attributes to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Interpret intricate trade documentation to guarantee accuracy and regulatory compliance, escalating any discrepancies found.
• Collaborate with Risk, Trading, and Legal teams to resolve issues and strengthen internal risk controls.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and deal review methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members and communicate findings, process enhancements, and risk insights to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in deal review, trade validation, or control functions within financial services.
• Strong focus on equity derivatives and structured/exotic products.
• Deep understanding of options trading strategies (vanilla, exotic, multi-leg) and hedging techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex, high-stakes issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA, FRM, or MBA designation.
• Experience with data analysis tools and financial software.
• Experience working with global equity markets and cross-border transactions.
• Familiarity with advanced data analysis techniques and financial technology platforms.
