Trading Application Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues or incidents to aid customers in resolving failures and determining root causes
• Define issue severity and prioritize tickets according to established processes
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on resolution progress
• Deploy products at customer sites to ensure seamless integration and functionality
• Provide technical training sessions to client end-users and IT teams
• Create comprehensive technical documentation to enhance client knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience in Client Service or Finance, preferably within Fintech or Capital Markets
• Proficiency in Linux and a solid understanding of networks and operating systems
• Basic understanding of SQL, databases, Java, and APIs
• Fluency in both English and French
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the FIX protocol
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog
• Previous experience in financial application support or software implementation
