Trading Analyst Intern

Responsibilities

• Support options trading operations on the Chicago Board Options Exchange
• Anticipate the needs of traders and deliver tasks quickly and efficiently
• Resolve position discrepancies and notify trading staff of unexpected changes
• Filter and report pertinent information to management in a timely fashion
• Communicate effectively with IT, vendors, clearing firms, and brokers
• Utilize various communication methods including IM, telephone, and email
• Become fluent in market research, analytical, and order entry applications

Requirements

• Must be an active college student during Fall 2027
• Background in mathematics, economics, physics, engineering, or computer science
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in programming and computer applications
• Strong math, probability, and game theory skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
