About the role

Responsibilities

  • Install, alter, and repair various plumbing systems, fixtures, and roof drainage systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing and HVAC components, including filters and thermostats
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Estimate and order necessary materials for assigned tasks
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance on backflow preventers, sand traps, eye wash stations, and lab hoods
  • Perform carpentry and drywall work to access internal building systems
  • Manage snow and ice removal for entryways and walkways using specialized equipment

Requirements

  • GED or High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • 3 years of experience in structural trades, specifically plumbing
  • Ability to obtain Forklift, Skid loader, and Manlift certifications within 12 months of hire
  • Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical evaluation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman license in plumbing
