Trades Helper - Plumber

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining, repairing, or replacing parts for internal and external plumbing systems
• Support the maintenance of water, sewer, and gas systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace plumbing fixtures as necessary
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of water heaters, boiler systems, and sprinkler systems
• Help maintain and repair kitchen equipment
• Maintain proper operation of all assigned vehicles and tools
• Manage an adequate inventory of supplies, parts, and equipment
• Work extra-curricular functions and irregular hours, including nights and weekends, as requested to ensure facility safety

Requirements

• Experience in plumbing or plumbing repair preferred
• General knowledge of plumbing systems preferred
• Familiarity with building machines and skilled in the use of tools
• Valid Texas Driver’s License (copy must be submitted with application)
• Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks including walking, standing, climbing, and heavy lifting
• Ability to work in various environments, including exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and chemicals
