Trades Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with trailing and reeling cable repairs and maintenance activities
• Support qualified tradespeople and workshop personnel with various tasks
• Perform general workshop duties including manual handling and housekeeping
• Receive, inspect, pack, and dispatch goods and materials
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
• Actively participate in on-the-job training and development opportunities
• Follow company safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture

Requirements

• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Current High Risk Work Licence (Forklift)
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and a ZERO Harm culture
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office programs (desirable)
• Previous experience in an electrical, manufacturing, workshop, or trade environment (highly regarded)
