Trader

Responsibilities

• Execute physical and financial commodity trades in LATAM and international markets to drive profit and system optimization.
• Develop and manage trading strategies for both short and long-term horizons.
• Originate marine clientele to build flow and optimize trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with Global Fuel Oil Commodity teams to develop arbitrage flows between regions.
• Manage price exposure and commodity risk in accordance with Risk Manual Guidelines.
• Utilize trading tools and analytical models to evaluate market conditions and supply scenarios.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of trading experience in fuel oil or associated products.
• Proven expertise in both physical and financial trading.
• Strong knowledge of global commodity arbitrage flows and regional market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop complex trading strategies and manage risk.
• Strong entrepreneurial, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in trading fuel oil and associated infrastructure.
• Deep fundamental market knowledge and experience building trading flow.
• Expertise in regional fuel oil flows, marine clientele, and local marine infrastructure.
