About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute physical and financial commodity trades in LATAM and international markets to drive profit and system optimization.
- Develop and manage trading strategies for both short and long-term horizons.
- Originate marine clientele to build flow and optimize trading opportunities.
- Collaborate with Global Fuel Oil Commodity teams to develop arbitrage flows between regions.
- Manage price exposure and commodity risk in accordance with Risk Manual Guidelines.
- Utilize trading tools and analytical models to evaluate market conditions and supply scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of trading experience in fuel oil or associated products.
- Proven expertise in both physical and financial trading.
- Strong knowledge of global commodity arbitrage flows and regional market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to develop complex trading strategies and manage risk.
- Strong entrepreneurial, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in trading fuel oil and associated infrastructure.
- Deep fundamental market knowledge and experience building trading flow.
- Expertise in regional fuel oil flows, marine clientele, and local marine infrastructure.
