About the role
Responsibilities
- Keep trading systems healthy and available by proactively spotting and resolving potential issues
- Respond to trader and engineer requests with urgency and operational context
- Participate in the onboarding of new desks and systems
- Learn the trading environment to anticipate challenges and suggest improvements
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in trade support, systems administration, or SRE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and command line skills
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems under time pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to containerized applications like Docker or Kubernetes
