Trade Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor trade flows and troubleshoot discrepancies or breaks by liaising with brokers, custodians, and counterparties.
• Maintain trade support processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Provide support for trade execution, including trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Analyze trade data and generate reports to monitor activity, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and IT teams to resolve technical issues and address trade-related inquiries.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support the establishment of business-specific controls and monitor new regulations.
• Manage the Permitted Product List (PPL) for trading desks, including adding new products and conducting annual reviews.
• Assist in the implementation and testing of new trading systems and enhancements.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in trade support or a similar operational role.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
