Trade Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in managing all post-entry activities within customs brokerage operations.
• Prepare regulatory submissions including PSCs and Protests.
• Respond to Requests for Information, Notices of Action, Liquidated Damages, and Entry Summary Rejections.
• Manage Temporary Import Bond closures and action non-arrivals or entry cancellations.
• Ensure timely follow-up with importers to obtain necessary documentation, certifications, and payments.
• Perform data integrity checks on importer entry data.
• Conduct performance evaluations, assign tasks, and provide training and guidance to direct reports.
• Monitor work volumes and schedules to ensure compliance with customs regulation guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (College Degree preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in customs brokerage, regulatory affairs, consulting, or similar professional services.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Valid Passport and willingness to travel occasionally to other office locations in Canada, USA, or Mexico.
• Must be legally eligible to work for the company at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

• US Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation.
