Trade Specialist

Responsibilities

• Handle antidumping, countervailing duty, and customs matters
• Manage post entry adjustments, protests, binding ruling requests, and prior disclosures
• Assist with the mitigation of fines, penalties, and forfeitures
• Perform reconciliations and manage various entry procedures, including quota entries, temporary importations, and warehouse entries/withdrawals
• Maintain high attention to detail and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Experience as a Licensed Customs Broker or as an import team leader
• Proficiency with Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Schedule B classifications
• Experience with various types of entries and entry procedures
• Experience preparing post entry adjustments, protests, and reconciliations
• Strong written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of export classifications and ECCN
