Trade Operation Senior Associate I

Responsibilities

• Oversee trade confirmation processes for Fixed Income, FX, and derivative instruments, including OTC, CFD, and ETD products.
• Monitor same-day and upcoming settlements across multiple asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and Money Market instruments.
• Collaborate with brokers, custodians, and trading teams to identify, investigate, and resolve settlement breaks, fails, or mismatches.
• Communicate effectively with overseas counterparts in Dublin, Hong Kong, and the UK to ensure smooth global middle-office operations.
• Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders, including investment teams, fund accounting, and client service teams.
• Participate in team projects and process improvement initiatives, focusing on system enhancements and automation.
• Perform daily operational tasks accurately and escalate issues or exceptions to management promptly.
• Work on rotating shifts and maintain flexibility to work additional hours or public holidays based on operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Solid foundational knowledge of Finance and Economics.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
• Ability to execute effectively under time pressure and manage operational risk.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or automation skills, specifically Python.
• Experience using AI or automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Japanese language skills.
