About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the e-commerce trading calendar planning, prioritising, and executing revenue-generating activity
- Set and manage commercial KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and promotional ROI
- Build pricing and promotions frameworks for discounts, bundles, and incentive structures
- Lead the Trading Team by recruiting, onboarding, and developing direct reports
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align trading activity with campaigns and platform roadmaps
- Report trading performance to the CCO with clear analysis and recommendations
- Establish a test-and-learn culture through structured A/B testing
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in ecommerce trading, merchandising, or commercial management
- At least 3 years in a senior or leadership role
- Proven track record of owning and growing a trading P&L within a marketplace or retail environment
- Experience building and scaling commercial functions and teams
- Strong commercial acumen regarding pricing strategy and margin management
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Excel
- Experience designing and running A/B tests to optimize conversion and AOV
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and build structure in a scale-up environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to the events, ticketing, or live entertainment sector
