Trade Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Audit and log customs entries for the LEA organization to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection recordkeeping regulations
• Report findings from audits clearly and communicate deviations in a structured and neutral manner
• Maintain high standards of documentation, controls, and audit trails
• Perform reliable follow-up and tracking of open issues
• Work with global stakeholders across different time zones under functional guidance

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a comparable field
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Analytical mindset with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
• High sense of responsibility and ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in import compliance
• Basic understanding of import processes and customs documentation (entry summaries, invoices, classifications, etc.)
• Ability to work independently after initial onboarding
