Trade Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Verify Long-Term Supplier Declarations (LTSDs) for correctness, completeness, and validity to ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain and validate master data and reporting datasets using structured checks to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Act as a key point of contact for suppliers to resolve missing, inconsistent, or outdated documentation.
• Support compliance with EU customs regulations, including rules of origin and Intrastat declarations.
• Contribute to regulatory and sustainability-related requirements such as CBAM, Conflict Minerals, and LKSG through data collection and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders to ensure data quality and transparency.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic, solution-oriented attitude.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong affinity for processes, controls, and documentation.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work reliably and independently while maintaining high levels of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• First experience in import or trade compliance.
• Proficiency in the German language.
