Trade Compliance, Classification Sr Advisor

Responsibilities

• Drive product classification by overseeing HTS and ECCN classification for parts and software to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
• Serve as a senior subject-matter expert in global export controls and Oracle GTM classification maintenance
• Partner with NPI, regional Trade, and PMO teams to support system classification of new parts and compliance assessments
• Contribute to system automation, workflow improvement, and data governance through Trade Modernization initiatives
• Maintain classification records, support audits, and develop dashboards to monitor compliance performance

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Global Trade Compliance with a strong focus on HTS and ECCN classification
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle GTM (classification, export controls, and hold workflows)
• Proven ability to analyze technical product data, such as specification sheets and BOMs, to determine correct classification
• Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and compliance governance
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Experience with Trade Modernization, automation, or data-quality programs
• Familiarity with Country of Origin (COO), valuation, or SAP and other trade systems
