Trade Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support Trade Compliance Management by ensuring export and import compliance with U.S. government regulations including EAR, Customs, and other agencies.
• Conduct internal audits and provide guidance to maintain satisfactory compliance.
• Determine and maintain import/export classifications, tariff classifications (HTSUS), and licensing requirements.
• Maintain export licensing and license-exemption records in the company database.
• Perform "Know Your Customer" (KYC) screening and global Denial Party Screening processes.
• Coordinate with sales, shipping, and logistics teams to resolve compliance issues and clear shipments.
• Handle Census, BIS, OFAC, and Customs correspondence as required.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and regulatory updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (or 4+ years of equivalent experience in US export/import compliance).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Strong working knowledge of export and import processes and procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Outlook) and internet research.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors, customers, and regulatory agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• CUSECO Certification.
• Experience with aircraft and engine parts and nomenclature.
