About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage with Trade Retailer management teams to support trade sales objectives
- Arrange and deliver regular training and development visits with Retailers
- Set up Trade Retailer operations to prescribed standards and SLAs
- Deliver on-site consultancy and coaching to Retailer Trade Management and teams
- Support Marketing Plan development and implementation with Trade Retailers
- Drive sales activity and customer visits to achieve parts sales growth
- Review regional results, retailer performance, and hold monthly review meetings
- Define and implement sales development activity and business plans for each retailer
- Analyse trade sales business performance, turnover, and KPIs
- Produce visit reports detailing agreed actions following retailer reviews
Requirements
- Background in parts sales from a manufacturer trade parts team, dealer, or aftermarket distributor
- Experience in automotive trade parts distribution operations and sales techniques
- Proven record in sales and target achievement
- Demonstrated customer-facing communication and negotiation experience
- Ability to use data to identify opportunities and develop sales plans
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong analytical, presentation, and persuasion skills
