About the role
Responsibilities
- Coach and manage the trade sales activity of the Trade Retailer network
- Engage with management teams to support trade sales objectives
- Arrange and deliver regular training and development visits with Retailers
- Set up Trade Retailer operations to prescribed standards and SLAs
- Support Marketing Plan development and implementation
- Drive sales activity to achieve OEM parts sales targets and profitability
- Review regional results and retailer performance through monthly meetings
- Create and implement improvement plans for underperforming retailers
- Analyse trade sales business performance including turnover and KPIs
Requirements
- Background in parts sales from a manufacturer, dealer, or aftermarket distributor
- Experience in automotive trade parts distribution operations and sales techniques
- Proven record in sales and target achievement
- Demonstrated customer-facing communication and negotiation experience
- Ability to use data to identify opportunities and develop business plans
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong analytical, presentation, and persuasion skills
