About the role
Responsibilities
- Support workshop operations with the refurbishment of heavy equipment components
- Process goods inwards and outwards and liaise with various vendors
- Spray paint and wrap components for preservation
- Operate forklifts and workshop equipment safely and efficiently
- Complete daily reports, documentation, and maintain high safety standards
- Assist technicians and supervisors with day-to-day operational requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience in a workshop, as a trades assistant, or in a similar hands-on role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Current manual driver's licence
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to perform manual handling of up to 40kg
- Basic computer skills for reporting, email, and tablet use
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks including medical, D&A, and police clearance
