Trade Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support workshop operations with the refurbishment of heavy equipment components
• Process goods inwards and outwards and liaise with various vendors
• Spray paint and wrap components for preservation
• Operate forklifts and workshop equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete daily reports, documentation, and maintain high safety standards
• Assist technicians and supervisors with day-to-day operational requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience in a workshop, as a trades assistant, or in a similar hands-on role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Current manual driver's licence
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to perform manual handling of up to 40kg
• Basic computer skills for reporting, email, and tablet use
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks including medical, D&A, and police clearance
