Tractorist

Responsibilities

• Perform vineyard tasks including pruning, repair, transplanting, and green work
• Execute soil work, phytosanitary treatments, pruning, and machine harvesting
• Provide occasional supervision of seasonal workers in coordination with the second tractorist
• Maintain production tools and equipment, including two over-the-row tractors and soil machinery
• Perform routine maintenance such as checking levels, filters, and basic mechanics
• Report on completed work to the farm manager

Requirements

• Confirmed or intermediate experience driving over-the-row tractors (enjambeurs)
• Skills in tool adjustment and setting
• Certiphyto applicator certification is appreciated
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously
• Respectful of equipment and detail-oriented

Le Domaine is a 41-hectare wine estate located in the Cher Valley, managed under HVE (High Environmental Value) agricultural standards. The estate features a regularly renewed vineyard with a wide variety of grape varieties.
