Traction Mechanical CAD Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop design solutions and installations within the Digital Mock-Up (DMU)
• Design and pre-dimension main part interfaces and components
• Produce associated technical drawings and integrate necessary metadata
• Perform stack-up analysis and maintain the Space Allocation Model (SAM)
• Execute engineering change requests and report on project progress
• Support production through back-office assistance and shop floor support
• Conduct peer reviews of CAD work to ensure quality and compliance

Requirements

• Advanced technician certificate
• Proven experience in 3D modelling and drawing/FTA creation
• Experience in design within a heavy industry environment
• Basic English proficiency for reading, writing, and technical meetings
• Proficiency with PLM4A or Catia V6

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within the railway industry
