Track Construction Team for Large-Scale Railway Projects

Responsibilities

We are looking for a cohesive track construction team to work on complex, multi-year large-scale railway projects across Germany. Depending on your specific role, your responsibilities may include:

• Foreman (Polier): Taking ultimate responsibility for smooth operations, timely completion, and maintaining the construction diary while acting as the interface to site management.
• Supervisor (Vorarbeiter): Organizing daily work, assigning tasks to the crew, and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations (UVV) on-site.
• Road-Rail Excavator Operator (Zweiwege-Baggerfahrer): Operating road-rail excavators, supporting track and switch installation, and managing material logistics.
• Track Worker (Gleisbauer): Installing and maintaining tracks and switches, and performing general superstructure work.

Requirements

• Proven experience in track construction or civil engineering.
• High level of mobility and willingness to work on-site via weekly assembly/montage.
• Strong commitment to safety awareness and strict adherence to UVV regulations.
• Technical understanding of modern track construction machinery and processes.
• Ability to work effectively within a fixed, reliable team.
• Professional communication skills for interacting with site management and other trades.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a track worker, civil engineering specialist, or related field.
• For leadership roles: Completed advanced training as a Foreman (Polier) or Master (Meister) in track construction.
• Valid license for operating road-rail excavators (Zweiwegebagger).
