About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage an existing portfolio of Canadian-based clients with US Treasury and Payment Solutions (TPS) needs.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver tailored TPS solutions supporting cross-border operations and growth.
- Lead sales activities including presentations, bids, proposals, and requests for information.
- Manage client inquiries regarding product offerings, pricing, and implementation to ensure timely responses.
- Conduct sales discussions to introduce innovative products and share insights on industry trends.
- Identify client needs and drive acquisition strategies to grow the client portfolio through the Client Management Process (CMP).
- Analyze client and industry data to optimize working capital and liquidity management strategies.
- Coordinate client implementation activities to ensure alignment with established timelines and outcomes.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in treasury management and treasury products.
- Proven experience in Portfolio Management.
- Direct experience in Commercial Banking.
- Ability to effectively manage commercial banking clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, risk assessment, and data analysis reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- French language skills are considered a strong asset due to the cross-border nature of the client base.
- Advanced knowledge of payment technologies and cash management solutions.
