About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy to improve equipment reliability and uptime
- Oversee TPM pillars including Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Quality Maintenance, and Focused Improvement
- Establish maintenance goals, KPIs, and metrics such as OEE, MTTR, and MTBF
- Coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance schedules with production teams
- Lead the TPM team through training, coaching, and workshops
- Manage the TPM budget, including spare parts inventory and external contractors
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing
- 2+ years in a leadership role managing TPM initiatives
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Lean/Six Sigma certification
- Strong knowledge of TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
- Experience with Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
