About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety above production at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Perform tower-top work including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, and load hopping.
  • Install up-top equipment such as masts, antennas, RRUs, cabling, and supports.
  • Assist with the installation of coax, fiber, lines, and hybrid cables per piping diagrams.
  • Execute grounding, terminations, and cadwelding as required.
  • Assist in the assembly of monopoles, self-support guyed towers, and rooftops.
  • Maintain tool inventory, equipment, and vehicles on the job site.
  • Complete daily JSA forms and assist with site closeout documentation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of Safety in Rigging coursework.
  • Successful completion of Industrial First Aid and Rescue Training.
  • Successful completion of a Competent Climber course.
  • Ability to climb and perform work at heights up to 500 feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, and aerial platform equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more and work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel 80% to 100% of the time, including out-of-state travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related trade school education.
  • One to three years of experience in climbing towers, stacking, or rigging.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
