About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform tower work including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, and load hopping
- Install equipment such as masts, antennas, RRUs, cabling, and supports
- Execute coax, fiber, and hybrid cable installations, including connector installation and weatherproofing
- Complete grounding, terminations, and cadwelding as required
- Assist in the assembly of monopoles, self-support guyed towers, and rooftops
- Maintain vehicles, equipment, and tool inventory
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality guidelines
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in climbing towers, stacking, or rigging
- Competent Climber Certification and Tower Safety & Rescue Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to climb up to 500 feet and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet ANSI Z359 physical requirements for fall protection
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%)
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10hr or OSHA 30hr Certifications
- RF Awareness Certification
- Experience operating aerial lifts, man lifts, and aerial platform equipment
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and piping diagrams
