Tower Foreman

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work activities to efficiently utilize crew members and equipment
• Oversee crew profitability, schedule completion, and quality of workmanship
• Perform installation of antennas, mounts, cable ladders, and cables
• Lead new tower construction, routine maintenance, and tower modifications
• Conduct daily tailgate meetings and ensure crew members complete PPE inspections
• Prepare weekly timesheets, expense reports, safety logs, and vehicle logs
• Mentor and train tower technicians to enhance team performance
• Troubleshoot electronic components for cell/microwave sites and lighting systems

Requirements

• Mandatory experience working with T-Mobile
• Proven experience in tower construction, antenna/line installation, and microwave installations
• Proficiency in tower modifications and maintenance of self-support/guyed towers
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check
• OSHA 30 certification
• Competent Climber and Competent Rescue certifications
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Ability to travel extensively (up to three to six weeks at a time) and work non-structured schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL Class A certification
• Experience with gin poles and basic rigging
• Proficiency with Anritsu gear for Sweep & PIM testing
• Experience with Fiber scope and OTDR testing
