Tower Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead erection, construction, and maintenance of wireless towers
• Supervise tower personnel and ensure OSHA compliance
• Perform tower top work including rigging, hoisting, and antenna installation
• Install up-top equipment such as masts, antennas, RRUs, and cabling
• Execute coax, fiber, and hybrid cable installation and testing
• Perform grounding, terminations, and cadwelding
• Maintain safe work environment and complete Jobsite Safety Assessment (JSA) forms
• Lead assembly of monopole, self-support, and guyed towers
• Mentor less experienced crew members in safety awareness

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of experience in climbing towers, stacking, and rigging
• Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue Certification
• Successful completion of safety in rigging coursework
• Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, and skid steers
• Ability to climb and work at heights up to 500 feet
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and pull own body weight up vertical towers
• Willingness to travel 80-100% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Related trade school education
• OSHA 10 training
• Competent rigger coursework
• Industrial First Aid and rescue training
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
