About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the erection, construction, and maintenance of communication tower sites
- Supervise tower crew personnel and ensure OSHA compliance
- Perform tower top work including rigging, hoisting, landing, and fastening
- Install up-top equipment such as masts, antennas, RRUs, and cabling
- Execute coax, fiber, and hybrid cable installations
- Complete grounding, terminations, and cadwelding as required
- Conduct daily Jobsite Hazard Assessments (JHA)
- Supervise up to 4 tower crew personnel
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Three years of experience in climbing towers, stacking, or rigging
- Ability to climb and work at heights up to 500 feet
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more and pull own body weight up vertical towers
- Valid driver's license
- Successful completion of Safety in Rigging/Competent Rigger coursework
- OSHA 10hr Training Certification (OSHA 30hr preferred)
- RF Awareness Certification
- Ability to travel 50-90% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Related trade school education
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 30hr Training Certification
