Tower Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead the erection, construction, and maintenance of wireless towers, including work on tower tops.
• Supervise up to 4 tower personnel, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company procedures.
• Oversee the installation of up-top equipment such as masts, antennas, RRUs, cabling, and supports.
• Perform installation of coax, fiber, lines, and hybrid cables, including connector installation and weatherproofing.
• Manage grounding, terminations, and cadwelding as required.
• Conduct daily Jobsite Safety Assessments (JSA) and lead safety tool meetings.
• Maintain tool inventory, vehicles, and equipment on the job site.
• Document work through photography and technical readings for closeout packages.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue Certification.
• Successful completion of safety in rigging coursework.
• Three years of experience in climbing towers, stacking, and rigging.
• Ability to climb up to 500 feet and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, and skid steers.
• Willingness to travel extensively (80-100% of the time) for several months at a time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Completion of OSHA 10 training and competent rigger coursework.
• Completion of Industrial First Aid and rescue training.
