Tower Crane Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate fixed tower cranes to lift and move materials such as concrete, steel, prefab elements, and tools
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety and occupational health regulations
• Communicate effectively with colleagues on-site via radio and hand/arm signals
• Position loads accurately according to instructions and construction drawings
• Monitor weather conditions (wind, visibility, precipitation) and assess lifting risks
• Perform general construction tasks when not operating the crane, such as formwork, site cleanup, or digging

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a tower crane operator with a valid certificate
• Valid VCA certificate
• Valid driving license (Category B)
• Fluency in Dutch for clear communication
• Physical fitness and willingness to perform manual labor
• Experience with telehandlers, remote-controlled cranes, or other machinery is a plus
• Certification in slinging loads is a plus
