Tour Guide

Responsibilities

• Conduct guided tours according to approved routes, scripts, and schedules
• Deliver accurate information about the site’s history, culture, stories, and significance
• Adapt tour delivery to different audience types including families, VIPs, and school groups
• Engage visitors through storytelling, interaction, and clear communication
• Ensure guest safety and follow all operational and emergency procedures
• Manage group movement, timing, and crowd flow professionally
• Handle visitor questions and coordinate with operations and security teams
• Maintain personal appearance and conduct according to brand standards

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in tourism, history, hospitality, or education preferred
• Proven experience as a tour guide or in a customer-facing role preferred
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Ability to speak clearly and confidently in public
• Good physical stamina for standing and walking for extended periods
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
