Tour Guide

Responsibilities

• Conducting informative and engaging tours that highlight the unique features of the destination
• Providing guests with insights into local culture, history, and traditions
• Adapting tours to cater to the interests and preferences of various group sizes and demographics
• Ensuring guest safety and comfort during excursions and providing exceptional customer service
• Developing and maintaining relationships with local suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Preparing necessary materials, such as brochures or presentations, to enhance the tour experience
• Gathering and sharing guest feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of services

Requirements

• Fluent in English and French
• Driving license (driving a van)
• Experience as a tour guide or in a relevant role within the hospitality or tourism sector
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• In-depth knowledge of the local area, including history, culture, and attractions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage different groups effectively
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
